Shakira came to us from the shelter where she was brought in as a stray and no one came to claim her.  She's been with HSNU for almost 2 years and is hoping to find her own home very soon.  Shakira has a spunky personality and she'll make you smile with her silly moves.  She has the most expressive eyes and she's really friendly and sweet.  One of her signature moves is to roll on her back and beg for pets. Something else special about this kitty is she LOVES kids even the loud crazy ones. Shakira doesn't like being held but she'll let you brush her and pet her as long as you will. She also enjoys chasing toys.  Shakira is a very light shedder. She has perfect litter box manners.  She really enjoys other pets in the house and would do great with a kitty friend or respectful dog.

***Shakira has chronic nasal congestion and respiratory scarring and requires daily medication to help her feel her best spunky self. Her medication costs just under $20 for a month supply and can be found in most stores.
