Goober came to us when his owners moved and didn't take him with them.  If you are looking to adopt a kitty that really needs a chance to know what a family can be like Goober has been with HSNU for almost 3 years.  It's definitely past his turn and only one other kitty has been looking for longer than he has. Goober had a rough start to life and was found with his brother in a chicken coop left all alone. We are not sure how it happened but at some point he broke his tail in two spots. That's all healed now and has been for some time. It has left his tail in a lightning bolt shape.  He's not a fan of being picked up maybe because he has other spots that can be tender.  He gets around just fine though and is a really sweet kitty.  He'll come out from wherever he is to greet you with meows and kitty noises when you get home. He enjoys pets and likes to play.  He has wonderful litter box manners.  Goober would do great in an apartment and knows how to chill and hang out.
