Lion’s Gate is a stunning calico mama cat who has done an amazing job raising her last litter and is now ready to begin the next chapter of her life. She was a devoted and attentive mother, and now she’s ready to receive the love and attention she deserves.

This sweet girl is a little skittish at first, but once she feels safe, she thoroughly enjoys being pet — she just likes to invite you in on her terms. She hasn’t quite mastered being picked up yet, and cuddling is a new concept for her, but with gentle patience and the right forever home, she’s likely to warm up beautifully, especially if her humans are her main companions.

Lion’s Gate gets along wonderfully with other cats and even two large German Shepherds in her foster home. She enjoys her wet food but isn’t overly motivated by treats, and she does like to play when she’s feeling comfortable.
